Reviewed June 1, 2020 (edited July 7, 2022)I can't believe that I have not reviewed this Vodka before. I have had several bottles and none of them have been bad. I have read several reviews here and other sites and there are messages about inconsistent quality control in the vodka. I guess I was very fortunate to get good bottles. On the nose at room temperature, there is a little ethanol smell but once it is chilled there is nothing. Once poured into a glass there is a slight scent of sweetness but I am not sure. For an 80 proof spirit, it goes down very smooth and very little burn when chilled. It makes a very solid Vodka Tonic and it is an excellent vodka to use in a Vesper Martini. The only real negative I have with Sobieski is that in my area they mainly sell it in 1.75L bottles and that is too large for my bar at the current time. So I am always looking for it in smaller bottles, but we all have our crosses to bear. In my area, the price for Sobieski ranges from $9 to $12 a fifth and is a solid addition to my bar but with so many other really good vodkas around that price point but without the reputation of having bad batches I may not try this again. We shall see.10.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed February 21, 2020 (edited August 14, 2020)It’s not overly sweet and has a bitter finish. A useful neutral spirit. I wouldn’t sip it neat, but it’s a great mixer. Makes a great screwdriver.15.0 USD per Bottle -
