Spey River Rum Cask Finish

Typical scotch profile with a nice brown sugar finish

It’s okay. It’s pretty unremarkable aside from the rum cask finish. start with caramel and oak, slight spice and cherry hit with a molasses and brown sugar finish. It’s a bit sharp and spicy. Would be a good scotch to get into but there’s a lot better bottles you can grab.

Pretty smooth

Cherry. Vanilla nose. Slightly bland after then long spicy aftertaste

Not a bad scotch. But as with every cask finish scotch I've tried i just don't get the flavor of the cask.

Oak with some vanilla and spicy sweetness. Long finish
