Speyburn 10 Year

Very smooth. I’m getting some grass, sweetness and a lot of melon notes. Light yet still full of flavor. Nice.

I really like the dry white wine - ness of this one.

Surprising and easy drinking

Beautiful nose! Full of butterscotch and pears. A bit of malt funk keeps it interesting. The taste is sadly underwhelming, but you can also read that as, "This one is an easy sipper." For as delicate as the palate is, the finish is shockingly robust. A hint of butterscotch. Toffee and apple skin lingers for 15 - 20 seconds.

The nose is great - apple, caramel, and lemon zest. The palate is similar with some grass and toffee notes in there.

i mistook the citrus cleaning spray nose for smoke and it threw my taste off BUT i still really enjoyed it. an approachable scotch for someone new or unfamiliar and would definitely dig deeper into Speyburn’s offerings
