Vanilla, berries and sweetness on the nose. More of the same on the palate to go along with some spice and grassiness, the sweetness becomes a chocolate covered caramel, not surprisingly a long finish. Let it rest in your glass for 10 minutes or so, otherthe alcohol can be overpowering. Very nice, just picked up a replacement bottle

A unique, BIG whiskey. Roasted corn with a sweet honey glaze and a touch of grilled pineapple on the nose. The palate is sweet, smoky BBQ with a little spice and a nice vegetal funk. Very long finish. I’m a big fan of this unique, assertive whiskey, can see why it’s divisive though.

Caramel, cherry, vanilla and a little spice on the nose. Creamy in the mouth, with less fruit and more spice on the palate, to go along with sweetness, vanilla and a touch of oak. Mostly vanilla and spice on the nice finish. Highly recommend, a geeat value

Palate and nose similar, I’m getting light fruit, mango, pineapple something along those lines along with brown sugar. The ABV gives the whiskey some weight. Got really good once the bottle got under half way down. Sad to see it go, will be buying again.

A sweet, green grapes/white wine nose, more fruitiness on the palate to go along with sweet pastries and a touch of smoke to end. Very nice and a great value

Winey at first on the nose. Very fruity and sweet with apples, pears and creamy vanilla on the palate with a full mouthfeel. A long, warming finish that sticks around in the back of your throat. A deep, luxurious scotch one of the best I’ve ever had. Just wish I could find another bottle.

Floral and grassy on the nose. More on the palate to go along with fruitiness. sweetness with vanilla and smoke making an appearance at the end. A long, pleasing finish in addition to great mouthfeel. Well balanced and very smooth. Now I see, or should I say nose, taste and experience what all the shouting is about.

Got this on a trip to Kentucky and was not disappointed. Sweetness, corn, a little vanilla, spice and oak. Oak is predominant on the finish. Another great Heaven Hill product and an amazing value.

Great value for a 12 year old. Let it oxidize in your glass for 15 minutes or so, you will be rewarded with sweet syrupy raisin notes with a bit of oak. Will be buying again.
