Good whisky, and definitely a Springbank; everything you want and hope from this distillery is here. At first approach, your nose is instantly greeted by subtle peat - hell, you could trick your mind into thinking you're smelling the ocean, with brine and marsh meeting your nostrils. The palate is wonderful, and FRUITY! Lemon and honey compliment your mouth, and it's especially here that you know you're enjoying a Campbeltown whisky. The finish is the weaker aspect, and benefits from the addition of water, as the liquid is slightly anaesthesizing. Still, this is good stuff!
