Springbank 10 Year

Heerlijk subtiel rokerig, rijk van smaak, nog wel caramel achtig, aangenaam pittig

Not for me. I think it's the peat that it leads with, and it smells horrible. That flavor is evident throughout the drink and it overwhelms everything else.

Scents of sea air and seaweed,a bit of vanilla and burnt wood on the nose. Fairly oily and unctous in the mouth. Warming finish, with a bit of bite. Hints of peat throughout. Enjoyable malt, excellent with a book before bedtime.
