Springbank 12 Year Cask Strength

Neus: rokerig, ziltig en geur van oude kaas. Intense geur. Pallet: Cambeltown funk past goed in volle body. Rokerigheid past goed in combi met zoetig en ziltige smaken. Nasmaak: medium lang, niet heel uitgesproken

Rokerig in de neus, maar dat valt in de smaak heel erg mee. Lijkt ook af te nemen met iedere slok. Verder een mooie harmonieuze whisky. Waar de 10 veel op het rokerige en funky leunt, is bij deze iedere smaak perfect in balans. Funky, ziltig, yuzu, onrijp fruit, lichte rook

Oh man. The bad first, the nose was fairly subdued and had a stronger alcohol nose but, one sip… and everythign changes!drinks like 46 at 57.2! The nose is a distant sherry influence, but the finish is an Insanely amazing mango/pineapple long finish! Palate is full of bright fruits but in a dense oily way. No need to add water to this beauty. The palate is great but The finish is one of the best all time!
