Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 14

So much depth to this. Has a very smooth Kentucky hug. I've had GTS and I would almost prefer this personally.

First time enjoying neat at a bar Nose - heavy heat and honey. There is also a heavy apple cinnamon pie presence to the nose. Sugar and heat perfect balance. Taste - starts very very full with vanilla and honey explosion. Light oak, leather and cherries with apple pie. Surprisingly no cinnamon I can find. The finish has some heat to bring this bourbon to a great balance. Overall - damn this is great. Why are these so hard to find? Because they are bar none the best.

Nose is nutty, vanilla, caramel. Pallet spicy, little nutty, oak, vanilla...getting that cherry the longer it’s open. Finish is hard cherry and oak. Love it. Beat finish I’ve ever had

Cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, and oak. Big, bold, sweet flavors. Proof shows up on the finish with a lingering heat. Delicious bourbon. Haven't tried other batches for reference.

Good batch, not as good as 13. Lots of the same flavors cherry, vanilla and oak just a little muted.

Spectacular. All of the barrel notes you want in perfect balance. Tobacco, pecan, charred oak. Doesn’t quite have the brown sugar and molasses of batch 12 but this is still great in it’s own right. Great mouthfeel and finish.
