Caramel bomb

Nose: booming with cherries and vanilla. Mouthwatering with some cinnamon notes on the second go. Palate: so full and rich and sweet and oily. I get a little bit of oak to be honest. Not overly sweet like some bourbons I’ve had recently. Finish: cherries. Just tons and tons of cherries Overall: did someone check the proof on this?? Is it actually 130 proof? Man is this great.

This version of Stagg jr is getting more closer to the George t Stagg version. The heat and spice is there but its not a hot tasting as the proof suggests. Buttery and sweet. Tastes like maple syrup with a hint of tobacco.
