r/bourbon private barrel selection. This is definitely a unique whiskey unlike Inhave ever tried before. While you get some of that rye spice, and I like sweeter bourbon in general, I found this to ultimatelu be too sweet. Honey/orange overpower the palate and then a dry orange peel finish lingers, like you are sucking on an irange rind. It’s something I’m glad I got to try, but isnt something I’d buy again.
