This High Rye Bourbon bottling from Still Austin is the second expression in its Bottled in Bond Seasonal Series. Made with a mash bill recipe using all Texas-grown grains 70% white corn, 25% rye, 5% malted barley) it's aged a minimum of four years in a federally bonded warehouse. As required for a bottled in bond whiskey, it is bottled at 50% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma displays a prominent vanilla and char smoke along with some hearty grains. There's also a light aroma of baked apple. It's a touch sweet on the tongue with a peppery bite. The taste is a bit hot and tight on the mid-palate with herbal rye grain standing out. Finish is bittersweet. A bit young, but it's going in positive direction. "
