Tasting Notes
"Don DiMonte and his team have done a terrific job of squeezing every drop of rye grain flavor into this spicy bottle rocket. Big grassy rye spices illuminate the nose with fresh oak and an earthy down-home thump. The rye quickly develops in the mouth with cinnamon bursts, pepper and licorice. Citrus and dried fruits are balanced by caramel sugars stressing a clean yet earthy oak finish. An exciting first whisky from a proven distillery."
