Stranahan's Sherry Cask

I did not like this which surprises me because usually I love Sherry Casked whiskey. Maybe my nose is still off from Covid??? I think the notes I taste most prominently are raisin and leather. It’s rather harsh but quite sweet. I maybe could see trying this again as a mixer for some hot buttered whiskey or maybe mulled… but I wouldn’t drink it straight and I’m not buying.

sweet yet harsh neat. better with ice cube overall ok but i much prefer their other oak cask products
