Batch No. 11. Aged a minum of 7 years. The sherry finisv is very present in nose and on palate. Lots of raisin, super ripe fruit, cherry, fudge, butterscotch, honey, butter. Some type of nut flavor as well from the sherry. Great American single malt from Stranahan’s.
For a sherry finish I didn't think it was that sweet, maybe because I like wheated bourbons. Dried fruit, raisins and honey on nose. Taste matches. Finish starts mildy and builds to a sharp cinnamon, then fades. Nice.
