"The aroma provides strong notes of caramel and vanilla on the front. After the glass sits for a moment, the spice notes are barely detectable. On the palate there is a spicy rush of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove that is quickly subdued by a heavy sugar-sweet vanilla flavor. The rum leads a slightly oily mouth feel. As this flavor is subdued the spice notes manifest in a lightly bitter finish. Interesting as a spicy sipper, its strength lies with being a mixer with ingredients that balance and subdue the sweetness of the sugar. "
