Reviewed June 27, 2023 (edited July 18, 2023)Rating: 9/23 N: Ethanol and a hint of something like wheat. That's about it. Hey! It turns out that this is distilled from wheat! P: Slightly sweet, but with some alcohol bitterness coming through. Prickly burn as well, though not quite harsh. Mostly a pretty mellow palate, with decent fullness and some degree of smoothness. F: Lingering sweet and bitter notes with burn. - Conclusion - Side by side, the sweetness of American Plains (11/23) is nicer. There's a bit of fruitiness to it as well that this lacks. They burn about the same. I don't find the two to be all that different in quality, but I do prefer the American Plains. This could be a 9, but I'm leaning toward a 10. Ketel One (16/23) just blows this out of the water. It's smoother, richer, and more sophisticated. Oh, wait: American Plains was actually a 10. This is a 9 for sure then.18.0 USD per Bottle -
