Was the first Japanese whisky I tried and loved it, it’s a staple- solid

This is a whiskey with a very delicate taste. I could see this being overpowered by certain foods. Definitely not one to be combined with cigar smoking. It is a great before meal drink. I had my taste over ice (on the rocks). If you are looking for a different taste from other whiskeys (Canadian, bourbon, scotch, Irish) try this Japanese whiskey. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

A bit of ethanol at beginning. Bold, peppery, a bit of wood. Leaving warm aftertaste. Obviously not the best, but not the worst either. Imho, will get one more bottle later
