Produced by Master Distiller Germán González, formerly of his family's brand, Chinaco, t1 is a product of 100% Highlands blue agave. It spends 20 hours in autoclave (industrial pressure cooker) and is double-distilled and bottled in a distinctive, Aladdin-shaped bottle--"easy for bartenders to grab," says Gonzalez.

Tasting Notes

"The nose presents light vegetal/agave notes complemented by white pepper and a whiff of pear eau de vie. On the palate there is a beautifully balanced spiciness that is held in check by a creamy mouthfeel--a Fred and Ginger dance on the tongue. The medium-long finish is sweeter than anticipated. Try with ceviche."
