Talisker 2010 Distillers Edition (Bottled 2020)

Thanks Ryan! Aroma is lovely smoke, some sweetness, and something a little meaty. Flavor is gentle smoke, fruity wine undertones, and a lingering buttery note.

Rich body, caramel and vanilla notes. Plenty peaty and a smooth finish

Color: Burnished Copper Nose: Cherry, baked apple, banana, slight smoke, sherry, cola Palate: Smooth, slightly oily, sweet, sour, lemon, grippy tannins Finish: Medium length Bottled at 45.8%. No info about chill filtering or color on the bottle.

Really enjoyed the smoke in this one. Would get again. Not sure I note a huge difference (given price) over their other favorite of mine - single malt 10 year.

Citrus Peel Peat but I’m not getting much smoke Leathery? Or some sort of weirdness. Lots of heat bc of the abv and young age statement.
