Massively disappointed. Tanqueray Gin is one of my go-to gins along with The Botanist, Bombay Sapphire, Beefeater Export version and Sakurao. This Flor De Sevilla Gin seems to be trying to compete with ghastly offerings from Gran Marnier and Cointreau. Sickly sweet, horrible, even a Fever Tree tonic cannot redeem this. Avoid. Discontinue please.
Really smooth for gin. The orange is prominent but it doesn't taste like gin with orange flavoring. The orange is one with the gin and it feels good together. A great gin to sip or mix with tonic.
I was expecting a strong orange flavour but this was actually fairly subtle which was a nice surprise.
The orange and citrus is certainly present though, almost like orange blossom water mixed with the classic Tanqueray juniper/herbal notes. Nicely balanced in my opinion.
Made for a really great gin & tonic on this hot summer day.
