Reviewed April 8, 2015The rum barrel aging is definitely apparent on the palette. Thick mouth feel with a warming burn at the finish. Hints of honey and banana on the nose, along with a powerful sense of the proof. -

Reviewed March 28, 2015 (edited December 8, 2016)[Re-review 12-07-1986] - Revisited on my birthday. My first taste must have been from a bad batch because it was awful. This time however I get a classic Irish palate with a little extra spice on the back. Not outstanding, but drinkable. -
