Tastes

The sweetness shines on this one. A moderate alcohol from the middle to the finish, with mild rum and caramel notes following up.

Sweet with vanilla and oak. Tasty, but not Pappy no matter how much people wish it were.

the maturation in Bourbon and Sherry casks certainly add some complexity. Notes of brine and salted caramel. The finish is warming but not harsh, and lingers a welcome length of time.

Heavy vanilla, on the nose with a hint of varnish. Lots of oak on the pallet, and well warmed with the alcohol. one of my favorites for a jullip.

Something has to go into a Bourbon and Coke.

Lots of malt and honey, with a hint of wood towards the finish. Decent dram, but far from refined or complex.
