Tequila El Mayor Extra Añejo Rum Cask Finish is a limited edition release from the tequila brand. It is made with estate-grown 100% blue Weber agave from the Tequila Valley in Jalisco.
Like their standard Extra Añejo bottling, it is aged for a 3 1/2 years but this time it gets a rum cask finish. Available as of September 2020 with 6000 bottles produced.

Tasting Notes
"This tequila has a pale amber hue, with an earthy and slightly vegetal aroma. Flavorwise, there's a surprising burst of sweetness initially that mostly fades into bitterness flecked with tinges of cardamom and black pepper. There's very little body to this tequila, though that sweetness sticks to the palate for a good long while."
