Reviewed March 21, 2019Great Anejo for the price! Lots of agave comes through a very light touch from the barrel. Notes of cashew and caramelized pineapple. Stands out among anejos. -

Reviewed February 26, 2019 (edited October 5, 2020)Appearance: honey in color with legs that move at their own pace Nose: baking spice takes a backseat to a charred agave aroma with distinct wood character Taste: barrel does not dominate, though still relevant. Agave character is still delightfully intact and lightly sprinkled with notes of cacao, caramel, and dried pepper.55.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed February 23, 2019 (edited November 30, 2020)Not your typical anejo. Most anejo tequilas start to taste more like a bourbon the longer it’s in the barrel. This is the exact opposite. You get vanilla and chocolate notes. But it’s not sickeningly sweet like other anejo’s. You get dried fruits and cacao yet the sweet and vegetal agave still shines through.55.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed February 7, 2019If you like things done right... this Tequila is the one for you. I love the history behind Tequila Tromba to start. Three fellas who fall in love with the highlands and here we are 10 years later. Sipping tequila by one of the industries best distillers Macros Cedano. Formerly with Don Julio he has taken his best practices with the help of his son Rodrigo. This Tequila is all about the timing. Both Marcos and Rodrigo taste monthly for up to 2 years and when they think its ready. They send it off to get bottled. Great sub in an old fashioned or sip with a nice dark chocolate.
