Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year

Nose: vanilla, sugar cane, citrus, and pepper. Very bright and fresh Pallate: lovely Vanilla that transitions into wood which is followed by banana and orange peel Overall: A nice easy sipping whiskey but the price is a bit of a deterrent... Rum lovers will find a lot of worth here

Nose: Grapefruit, and lily nectar take over with the traditional malt musty note taking a back seat. Not overly sweet, but very tropical. Palate: light bodied. , vanilla molasses and rum funk are prevalent with a hint of banana peel and orange zest. Oak tannins take you to the finish Finish: short and oaky with hints of cooked banana. A bit disappointing for the price, but a perfect whisky for a rum lover.

Just a touch of vanilla from the rum finish, really nice

Sweet on the nose, slight smoke and maybe brine on the palate. Very nice, reminds me a bit of glenfarclas 12

Fairly smooth. Nose is clean, crisp malted barkey with a sweetness at the end. Taste is really good, with a really good balance between the rum notes and the scotch, but not the best mix of peatiness. Would probably LOVE this one with less peat
