The Botanist Gin

Aromas are floral and fruity. More flowers than fruit tho. Flavors are right there. The alcohol heat is perfectly balanced to make this good.

Makes one of the best gin and tonics I’ve had. Had no idea it was made by Bruichladdich until a trip to Islay. That only made it better!

Clear. Juniper, flowers. Dry, olive. Medium-light body, mild burn. Very mild; pleasant (but simple) to sip, good in a dry martini, too weak in other cocktails.

Juniper, heather and citrus on the nose. Lemon, juniper and pine with an oily mouth feel. Some mint(?) on the finish. A nice gin for sipping neat and in a martini. Perhaps a bit soft for a gin and tonic.
