The Botanist Gin

Herbs, not citrus. Big 10 stars.

I knew I should've kept away from experimenting with gin. Should've stuck to whisky. Now I find myself liking whisky, Mezcal, and gin. I didn't need one more. So--on to the review for this beauty. I love the nose: crisp and pine-y. Feels as if you're breathing the Oregon North Pacific forest air (yes, I know this is from Islay). Taste is even better. The forest pine trees play in the background, with the forefront dominated by floral and citrus taste. I've not had many gins, but out of the ones I've had, this is probably the best. Really a great buy at $35 (w/o tax)
