Tasting Notes
"Right of the bat this profiles itself as an extremely well-balanced whisky. Highly approachable, with some classic dunnage notes and furniture polish, as well as strawberry and mandarin. Very mature and not at all oak-y. The palate is mouthwatering and syrupy, with lots of little intricacies. Rum raisins, prunes, milk chocolate. It's all there, while being supported by a nice spicy layer. Incredibly vibrant after nearly four decades spent in the cask."
