Glenlivet 18 Year

Fantastic scotch and possibly my single exception to the “Fiddich over Livet” rule.

Hope I didn’t get a bad batch after reading all these great reviews. Disappointed to say the least... Nose - Honey, toffee, pear Palate - Relatively boring oil and oak Finish - More oil with a burn, nothing stands out.

Nose: smells like a sherry or port barrel but apparently not aged in. Fruity and mainly red apples some classic oak notes Taste: apple pie with smoke at the end. An excellent whiskey
