This is a solid serviceable scotch, It wont wow you but its a decent value. Poured neat, nose is speyside fruit, malt and wood with a bit of a floral note. Mouthfeel is thin but soft. Palate is chewed juicy fruit gum, light malt and green wood. Lacks depth but no real off notes. Finish is quick fade of fruity malt along side some bitter tannins. Overall its ok for an entry level scotch but I think Speyburn 10 takes it for less $$. A good mild beginner malt that wont offend anyone.....75/100.....I can however think of 10 or more at this price point or less that I would prefer
