Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year

Nose: Pear, maple syrup, cherry, licorice, smoke, redwood, floral, plum, vanilla Label: honey, fresh fruit, toffee, soft cooked apples, luscious brown sugar Aged in Pedro Ximenez Oloroso and refill ex-bourbon casks. Initial impression strong maple and brown sugar and spice, with briny and peaty body. Finish:smoked tobacco and leather with sweet floral/cooked apple sprinkled with light toffee.

The most evolution in a bottle. The palate changes so much it’s a mystery every sip. Beginners should avoid this one, but experienced should give it a try. I will replace the bottle eventually, but it’s definitely not for everyone. Was gifted this. Nice sipping scotch. Not overly complex but also not overly costly.
