The Whistler Double Oaked

Caramel and vanilla on the beginning, more oak eventually comes but it’s nothing crazy. More character than Jameson for sure but as a sipper… ehhhh. Check out their cask series, especially the PX i love you

It checks all the boxes but honestly doesnt dazzle me. Certainly hit the sweetness and vanilla notes, plus some fruitiness from the sherry cask

Nose- unremarkable with vanilla and a hint of honeysuckle Body- vanilla and a bitterness blend giving a hint of cola Finish- a flash of cola and then gone This is a nice balance of malty and sweet.

Definitely a lot of honey on the nose and palette, with a warm, dry finish that has a little bit of spice in it. A complex Irish whisky!
