Ok so this is a sourced bourbon with a bit of a hokey marketing gimmick, it’s still a pretty good bourbon. The high rye mash is noticeable on the palate but not so much on the nose. Brown sugar & baking spice fill the body, it’s relatively sweet to me for this type of bourbon. The finish is good while it lasts, warm without the pepper burn. All in all I was pleasantly surprised by this one, it might be time to put away those preconceived notions about sourced whiskey 👍
