Tomintoul Tlàth
Single Malt
Tomintoul // Speyside, Scotland
Tlàth (pronounced “tlah”) means "gentle, mellow" in Gaelic. The expression comes from the selection of individual casks featuring whiskies of various ages matured exclusively in ex-bourbon American oak barrels.
This no-age-statement single malt is bottled at 40% ABV. Note: Not available in the US.

Tasting Notes
"A very easy-drinking dram with honey, toffee, oaky and citrusy notes on the nose. Also an underlying subtle vegetal hint--almost minty. The palate is definitely smooth but still shows a certain complexity with star anise, herbal, spices, blood orange & vanilla aromas. "Tlàth" could be a perfect entry dram if you're looking to introduce some friends to the joys of single malt whisky."
