Town Branch Bourbon

Flaviar 11/14/21 “B” - [ ] Poured and a bubble persisted, so likely about 90-99proof. Beautiful nose - ethanol, butterscotch, caramel. Taste is at first AWFUL - (that BARLEY flavor punch that I hate) that slides into caramel and actually a decent, rye slow lingering floral flavor. Body is light-medium. Too much barley for me to buy again.

Has a flavor profile that I very much dislike. More like scotch than bourbon

Sort of chemical taste, woody, almost peaty like a scotch to me

Figs, ripe fruits, baking spice, oak, ash, sweet, slightly hot middle - red hots, hint peanut, medium lingering finish
