RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is a heady mix of herb garden—particularly tarragon, sage, and spearmint—fennel seeds, and a hint of cinnamon. Raisinated fruit enters the palate along with fresh bing cherries. The fruitness is accented with another hit of herbaceousness and a sprinkle of spice. The finish is a bit dense and cough syrupy, though not unpleasant, offset with oak and spice notes. "
