Uncle Val's Botanical Gin

Way too cucumbery for my taste when taken by itself, but with fever tree elderflower tonic, this might be my favorite g+t.

Great gin for non gin lovers, i have made many people love gin because of this

Wow. On the nose: huge cucumber, then citrus, spice (cilantro? Peppercorn?), and of course, juniper. On the palette: smooooth, with complexity. First taste is water-y, then spice, juniper and cucumber, a bit of bitterness, and a very long, citrus-y finish. Opens up in a gin and tonic but doesnt lose the cucumber. A really fantastic Spring gin.

Cucumber, which I normally don't like in gin. This is different. Citrus cucumber fruity, not my favorite sipping gin, better mixed with a good tonic.

Would not get again. Its lemon flavor is over-powering. It honestly tastes like a flat sprite. Its a good quality gin. But the flavors weren't for me.
