Some cherry notes on the nose, the whiskey has some nice warmth on the finish and some descent depth on the palate.

Corn, sticky dried fruit, and warm spices. Pretty assertive.

Second City store pick. It’s decent. Drinks lighter than the proof, has a bit odd minty medicinal flavor that reminds me of some less refined four roses. It isn’t bad for 5 years, wouldn’t buy again but thought it was interesting to try for the money. 60%+ store pick single barrel
