Reviewed November 14, 2022 (edited November 16, 2022)This is just hard for me to peg. Big oak, rye, caramel, brown sugar and baking spice notes are simultaneously very good yet underwhelming. I like it better with an ice cube, which highlights its thick, viscous, silkyiness and takes the edge off the heat. -

Reviewed October 18, 2022Nose is dusty, nutty, unknown fruit. Palate is nutty, heat, tannins. Short to med finish. Quite like it, not surprised as I’m a fan of wild turkey. -

Reviewed August 5, 2022 (edited August 7, 2022)Nose: brown sugar and vanilla with a bit of ethanol. Palate: tobacco, vanilla caramel Finish: it’s 107 proof but drinks like 90 so it’s “smooth” as some would say. The finish doesn’t linger. Short Kentucky hug. Overall this is delicious and a solid pour.
