Pale copper color, many legs, but slow running.
Nose is sugar cookies, vanilla, old dry oak and an ever so faint herbal note.
Soft, sweet front moves on to some light spice and a hint of char on the palate.
Cloying stickiness allows for a prolonged vanilla frosting finish, with a dash of light caramel, filberts and fuji apple. The wood comes through, but it's really the wood and not the char.
It takes a while to unwind it all, and is a joy to let unfold.
