Weller Full Proof Bourbon

One of my favorites

Very powerful on the nose, heavy oily mouth feel. Lots of very briney notes to it. Obviously it’s a wheated bourbon and that does not try to hide itself. No better or worse than any other full proof out there.

I've been a whisky drinker for decades, and everytime I have Weller full proof I can't believe how well balanced of a bourbon it is. It's well made and never disappoints. Nose is standard buffalo trace sweet with candy apple and cinnamon, but a slight musk from the wheat and spice from the rye. Pallet is sweet and for a 114 proof, very smooth. It finishes thick on your tongue wanting you to go for another sip.

Incredible bourbon that will impress anyone, similar to Weller 107 but obviously has more oil that lengthens the flavor in the back stretch; cherry’s, spices, classic wheat flavor profile.
