RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"A hearty, muscular rye from Wheel Horse showing good balance. The aromas are weighted with spice and grilled meat, then tempered with a nice lavender note in the background. The palate opens with rich helping of bread crust and caramel and ends with a strong ginger note, coating evenly from front to back. Good choice in a Manhattan."
