Reviewed April 20, 2022Store pick in VT, 60% Madeira, 20% Sauternes, 20% Port. The palate is not as sweet as expected from the nose, but in a good way, as the sweet barrel finish notes combine nicely with the rye spice. The finish is long and warm for the proof as well. There’s nothing wrong with this bottle, it’s just that I enjoy the 10 year about as much for a fair bit less money. -

Reviewed April 17, 2022 (edited November 16, 2022)Nose: Some oak and apple with minimal heat on the nose. Some sweetness that is tough to place, maybe honey. Palate: Rye hits with some black pepper and medium heat. Finish: some of that peppery burn rolls through followed by some fruit and then a long chocolate finish. Very nice finish Overall this is a solid rye with a very good finish. Finish lasted quite awhile and really put a stamp on its rating. Very good -
