WhistlePig 6 Year PiggyBack Rye

Ok neat, really good over ice. Not a mixer!

Vanilla/oaky flavor when neat. Extremely smooth on the rocks! Drank with Paul.

So smooth, even neat

Nose is sweet and spicy, with the sour of the rye grain right up front. Notes of sweet tea and eucalyptus as well. Palate is almost like everything I expect in rye, but turned up. It's like liquid rye bread. Spice, menthol, eucalyptus. The finish is all mint and menthol. It's a good rye if they are what you are in to.
