WhistlePig 6 Year PiggyBack Rye

An intense, American Rye Whiskey from Vermont crafted with 100% Rye aged for 6 years in American white oak & bottled at 96.56 proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of fresh cinnamon, black peppercorn, tangerine & grapefruit zest; while bold life adds notes of cherry, cocoa, cardamom & cured leather; that led spicy death of medium length with notes of baking spices, vanilla & citrus. Tried neat awhile back thanks to my distributor friend. This one came with a gold pour topper which was neat! Unfortuantly I wasnt able to write down notes then. Whiskey pig is never my choice of sipper. Just not my fav
