Reviewed November 16, 2023 (edited December 9, 2023)White Horse Scotch was a quality blended Scotch whiskey. It now has no Lagavulin listed on the label. White Horse is 40% malt from Speyside malts. The nose consists of spices, caramel, and sandalwood. Entry is creamy with a palate of toffee, and spice. The finish ends with sandalwood and citrus. I miss the peat from Lagavulin. There is no peat, smoke, heather, or honey. It is a sad day Diageo took the Scotch flavors out of this Scotch blend. Blindfolded I would have thought this was a lower-level Irish Whisky20.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 15, 2023The appearance is of clear gold. The aroma presents honey and white bread. With flavor, you will find honey, white bread crust, and grain. The body is medium, and White Horse finishes medium long. RJT16.71 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed March 6, 2023 (edited November 15, 2023)Not a lot of cheap blends are as good as this. Consisent year to year, full, sweet, just a hint of smoke. Not watery like most similar blends are. Really great bang for buck. Reccomend for making Penicillin cocktails. If you’re in America and can’t find peaty scotch on a budget my best advice is to buy a $30 smoke gun on amazon and smoke a glass of this. That won’t make it into Lagavulin but it will get much closer than you'd expect.
