Widow Jane 10 Year Straight Bourbon

Batch 252 bottle 1105 date 2020 Sweet, vanilla, smooth. Kind of bright. Warm finish. Smooth aftertaste.

Not a great nose, it’s just not present. Pretty light palate, maybe it’s the 90 proof, maybe it just doesn’t have the flavor/complexity I was hoping for. For $70 this bourbon disappointed me greatly. $20 taste for me.

I was amazed of how much crème brûlée I tasted with this. To make sure I waited a few days to try again.

Smooth and crisp; worth keeping in the liquor cabinet.

Not sure on this one. Cannot get past what seems to be a metallic finish. Hits the front end fine but the finish leaves me thinking the $70 I plopped down on this was about $50 too high.

Whiskey night tasting: I thought this was a nice bourbon blend. The bottle says it's sourced from KY, TN, and IN. Better than average, although it sounds pricy for what it is.
