Widow Jane Whiskey Distilled From a Rye Mash Oak & Apple Wood Aged

Very good rye. Not very grassy. Oak over apple. Smells grass but tastes bourbon.

extremely mellow for a rye and doesn't have much of that rye spice. Not great, but if found at the right price it's an easy one to sip or use in cocktails.

Brassy Color, pretty sticky. Nose shows tons of Rye spice and fruity notes. Some Barn must and plenty of wood. Reminds me of a spiced German apple cake... Caramel covered Granny Smith apples with grains to boot. Soft mouth feel that warms gently all the way down. Sticky at the back, leaving a great finish. This can pretty near hang with the rum aged rye from angels envy.
