Wild Turkey Bourbon 101

Hot and spicy like eating a jalapeño. Heat comes fast right up front, with a beautiful lingering taste of corn and malt. Long after it tastes dry, like the taste of an oak wood spoon.

Nose: Vanilla, baking spice, grain, and a touch of ethanol. Palate: Corn oil helps to coat the palate with rye spice, oak, and light vanilla. Finish: Flash of rye spice with vanilla. Overall a long heated finish, but nothing excessive. Thoughts: Definitely an every day sipper. At $20~ a bottle, you can’t beat it!
