Nice spice, but smooth

A bit disappointed - not because this isn't good, but because Russel's Reserve Single Barrel Rye might be 95% as good at less than 1/3rd the price. That being said, yes, this is pretty tasty, and if I were to rate this regardless of price, this is fantastic. Smooth sweet cream flavor with a smokey, herbal undercurrent. A beautiful bottle and box, and something I'm proud to have on display

Letting it rest made the nose much more pleasant. I got a lot of rye spice on the back end

와일드터키 마스터스킵 코너스톤 라이 (54.5%) Wild Turkey 'Master's Keep' Cornerstone Kentucky Straight Rye 9-11년 숙성된 라이 블렌딩 향 : 스월링 후 코를 대니 라이 특유의 스파이시함이 코를 찌르듯 합니다. 차분한 버번피니쉬들을 생각하면 도수 대비 훅! 쏘는 라이의 정체성을 잘 드러냅니다. 초록색 사과라서 사과의 달콤함이 올라오기 전 상태의 껍질향이 납니다. 아주 약간 바닐라오일의 미끄덩함도 느껴집니다. 입을 벌리고 들이마시니 머핀 밑에 붙어있는 흰종이 맛의 향이 납니다 시간이 좀 지난 뒤에는 가죽향이 차분하게 느껴집니다. 맛 : 달콤함이 살짝 느껴진 이후 홍어나 마라탕을 먹었을 때 느껴지는 얼얼한 스파이시함이 혀 끝부터 퍼져나갑니다. 시간이 흐르니 라이 베이스의 달콤함이 입 전체로 퍼지고 곧 후추향이 들숨에 압도적입니다. 역시 라이위스키는 들숨후추가 호불호의 포인트인것 같습니다. 피니쉬 : 역시나 쌩 나무맛으로 마무리됩니다. 쌉쌀함과 후추의 뒷맛이 독특하지만 여전히 어색합니다. 달달함과는 거리가 멀어서 그런것 같습니다. #정리가 잘 된 라이의 표본 #쉐리가 궁금한 사람에게 맥18이나 드로낙18급을 건낸다면 라이위스키로는 이 보틀을 건내도 좋다.

Thanks to good friends for sharing a taste. I wouldn’t spend $175 plus tax for a bottle but, WT outdid themselves with this one. I was hoping Rare Breed Rye would be like a little brother to this one but, it’s not even a kissing cousin.
